Isabel Catherine Kelley is a sculpture artist working out of her home studio in Windham, Maine, United States. Kelley creates primarily with local Maine granite. Direct carving and pairing contrasting varieties of stones has become the regular method serving her studio practice. Her work is often influenced by nature, archetypes, and history. Kelley's sculptures emote a feminine quality through form, activate natural stone color, and invite viewers to a sensation of tactile experiences. She is an active participant throughout Down East Maine's many sculpture symposia, has public sculpture on the Boothbay Harbor Region Sculpture Trail, Boothbay Harbor, ME, at Granite City Park of Hallowell, ME and at Andre's Institute of Art in Brookline, New Hampshire.
